And you do this not for glory or recognition, but because your heart is oriented toward service, sovereignty, and love.

A doula listens deeply when others rush.
You protect a laboring mother’s dignity when systems fail to see her.
You whisper encouragement in moments of doubt.
You remind families that they are not alone.

And what makes you so special isn’t just what you do — it’s who you are.
You are an advocate and a witness
A protector of physiology and choice.
A carrier of stories, rituals, and wisdom that medicine can’t always explain.
